Ourdream AI shows up in almost every AI girlfriend search, and most pages stop with a sign-up button. That’s reason enough to be careful. This Ourdream AI review answers what those pages skip, what you really pay once Dreamcoins come into play, how private your chats are, what happens when you cancel, and whether the memory holds up.
We pulled from Ourdream’s own help centre and privacy statement, plus five competing reviews, and we point out where they disagree. One thing up front, this article is built on published information and other people’s reports, not our own hands-on testing. Ourdream AI is for adults only (18+).

What Is Ourdream AI?
Ourdream AI (ourdream.ai) is an adults-only AI roleplay and companion platform. Its data protection policy names Dream Studio USA, Inc. as the operator and says ourdream.ai and ourdream.io are one service with one account. You pick a character from a community library or build your own in a realistic or anime style, chat with it, and spend an in-app currency called Dreamcoins on images, videos and voice.
It runs in a browser. Ourdream’s help centre says there’s no standalone mobile app yet and suggests adding the site to your phone’s home screen.
What Testers and Users Report About Ourdream AI
Because this Ourdream AI review doesn’t rest on our own testing, we keep reported experiences apart from confirmed facts.
Intimeros reports a two-week test on desktop Chrome, an iPhone 15 and a Galaxy S22. It found replies fast and good at capturing tone, but repetitive in long sessions. Memory worked inside a conversation and faded between sessions. It scored memory 3.0 out of 5 and the multimodal experience 4.5.
Dream AI Girlfriend says memory covers recent messages and gets shaky over several days. It promotes a rival app (GoLove), so weigh its conclusions with that in mind.
Straight Advisor reports the opposite: a two-week story of 400+ messages in which the character kept recalling early details. We give this less weight. The review reads as a fantasy-storytelling piece, never mentions Dreamcoins, images, video or voice, and gives a price range that doesn’t match Ourdream’s published plans. It also uses affiliate links.
WeavAI rates the platform 4.2/5 and focuses on feature breadth. Much of the detail is in images, so it’s hard to check line by line.
Reddit. Intimeros quotes two Reddit users: one says the coin and chat-limit system puts chat behind a paywall, the other says characters go in circles unless you bring new ideas. We couldn’t open the original set of threads, so treat these as individual, second-hand comments. Ourdream links its own subreddit from its site if you want to read more.
Trustpilot. The Trustpilot profiles we found are for lookalike domains, ourdream-ai.uk and our-dream-ai.me, not ourdream.ai. Each has one review, so we didn’t count either.
The pattern: chat is decent, visuals are strong, and continuity is inconsistent. One third-party review mentions pinned memories and an automatic memory log. We couldn’t confirm that in Ourdream’s official documents, so check the settings yourself.
Ourdream AI Features: What Do You Actually Get?
Ourdream AI gives you chat, character creation, images, video and voice in one browser app. Paid plans cover chat, but you spend Dreamcoins on images, video and calls from one shared balance. Below, we explain what each feature does and what it costs.
Chat
Subscribers pay no coins for standard chat. The help centre says Genius models cost 1 coin per reply. Testers call replies coherent and in character. The weak spot is repetition in long sessions. If you ask, a character will switch languages.
Character creator
You choose realistic or anime, then set looks, personality and voice. The sign-up screen offers female, male and trans interests. Intimeros found personality depth depending on how much you steer the chat, and Dream AI Girlfriend says the builder takes time to learn. You can publish characters for others, but they go through a review before they appear publicly.
Images
Pick a character, then choose a pose, outfit and background. Ourdream doesn’t allow reference-photo uploads, which its help center ties to deepfake risk. You generate for a character you’ve already picked, so it’s less free-form than a standalone image tool.
Videos
Short clips from the same generator. Standard video costs 100 coins per 5 seconds, up to 60 seconds. If video is your main goal, a dedicated unrestricted AI video generator may give you more room.
Voice
Voice messages and live calls. Calls cost 50 coins a minute. Intimeros describes the voices as synthetic but clear.
Extras
The site has a Feed and a Community area. WeavAI also mentions group chats, which we couldn’t confirm in official documents.
Adult content
NSFW is a core feature, not an add-on. Intimeros says the pace follows your direction. Ourdream’s help centre admits its content filter can be oversensitive and flag safe content.

So 1,000 coins is roughly 200 images, or ten 5-second videos, or 20 minutes of calls, or a mix. Several reviews list these as separate monthly allowances. Ourdream’s cost table shows they all come out of one balance.

The memory gap probably comes down to how people use it. A long single story seems to hold together better than picking up a chat after a few days. If recall matters to you, test it: tell a character three exact details, come back the next day, and see what survives. Free accounts can chat (at 1 coin a message), so you can run this test before paying.
Is Ourdream AI Easy to Use?
Setup is simple. You confirm you’re 18+, pick what you’re interested in, and sign up with an email or a third-party account. Everything works in the browser, so you don’t need to download anything. Intimeros tested it on a desktop and two phones with no trouble.
The learning curve sits in the character builder. You can spend a while designing someone before you’ve had a real conversation. Straight Advisor also notes that starting a fresh story takes effort, since the AI works best when you bring ideas. Beginners can skip the builder and start with a ready-made character.

The Deluxe figures come from third-party reviews, not Ourdream’s help centre, so confirm them before paying.

Is it worth it? The yearly plan saves 120comparedwithtwelvemonthsatthemonthlyprice($239.88 vs $119.88). That works out to about 33 cents a day. For casual use, Premium yearly is fair value. The monthly plan costs twice as much for the same coins, so use it only as a one-month trial.
Dreamcoins are the catch. Because every image, video, and call draws from one balance, light users will be fine, but heavy users won’t. A single 60-second video costs 1,200 coins, more than a whole month of Premium coins. You can only buy coins with an active subscription, and we couldn’t find top-up prices, so check them in the app first.
Deluxe only makes sense if you regularly run out of Premium coins. We found no verified official promo code, so be careful with any discount-code page. The yearly plan is the real discount.

Is Ourdream AI Free?
Partly. You can create an account and chat, but a free account pays 1 coin per message. Images and videos need a subscription, and you can’t buy coins without one. We couldn’t confirm how many coins a new free account starts with: one third-party page says 55, another says five messages per character. That’s enough to judge the chat style, but not the media tools.
Cancelling, Refunds and What Happens to Your Media
This is the part most reviews leave out. The details below come from Ourdream’s cancellation, refund and unsubscribe help pages.
- How to cancel: Go to your profile page, click Cancel subscription, then confirm. You keep access until the end of your billing period.
- No automatic refund comes with cancelling.
- Refund limits: Ourdream says it can’t refund a product that’s more than 25% used. Monthly plans aren’t refundable once you use up the coins. Annual plans may be eligible for a full or partial refund. Crypto payments can’t be refunded.
- After a refund, we remove unused coins.
- Your media blurs. If you unsubscribe, we blur your generated images and videos. Download anything you want to keep first. Resubscribing un-blurs them.
That last point matters most if you’re thinking about the $119.88 yearly payment. Ask for a refund early if you’re going to, because the 25% rule works against late requests.

The image tools and the yearly price give you the best reasons to subscribe, while memory, coin limits and privacy give you the biggest reasons to think twice. Is Ourdream AI Safe and Legit?
Short answer: it’s a real, operating product, but treat your chats as stored and readable by the company.
Is Ourdream AI legit?
Yes. The privacy policy names Dream Studio USA, Inc. with a Dover, Delaware address and was last modified on August 26, 2026. WeavAI says a Cyprus company, TEKTOPIA LTD, operates the platform. We couldn’t confirm that.
Is Ourdream AI a scam?
We found no reports of billing scams in the sources we reviewed. The bigger risk is lookalike domains. The official site lists ourdream.ai and ourdream.io as one service, and other similarly named domains exist. One third-party page also references an App Store listing under a different developer name. Ourdream says it has no app, so treat any app-store listing as unverified. Check the URL before you enter payment details.
Privacy
Of everything in this Ourdream AI review, this part matters most. The points below come from Ourdream’s privacy policy unless noted.
- The privacy statement says Ourdream collects your email, username, chats, images, characters and the outcome of age checks. Payments go through vendors.
- It says it may use information to train its AI and machine-learning models.
- The policy describes AES encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. That isn’t end-to-end encryption, and Intimeros notes Ourdream doesn’t advertise it. The policy also says it can’t guarantee security.
- There are no ads today, but the policy says they may add ad partners later. It uses Google Analytics.
- You can delete your account under Settings, then Account management. Deletion is permanent. A public character that becomes popular may stay on the platform after you leave.
- Intimeros found no clear memory reset tool and no stated retention timelines.
Content and safety rules
Ourdream reviews characters before they go public and doesn’t allow reference-photo uploads. Intimeros says content featuring minors, non-consent or anything illegal is prohibited, and that boundaries were generally maintained in its test, though not perfectly. The discovery feed is user-generated, and we can’t judge how well moderation works across a very large library. Whether that’s acceptable is up to you.
Intimeros also notes the platform is built for entertainment, not mental health services, and that its design promotes repeat use.
